STATEMENT
I choose the wood-fired process for my work because I enjoy the aesthetic uniqueness atmospheric firing brings to each piece I create. My relationship with clay became rooted in the latter part of the 70's. Since then I've explored many firing methods although my passion has remained with wood firing since 2006.
My work is both wheel thrown or hand built and at times a combination thereof. Working with clay is both a lifeforce and a meditative process that captivates me each day.
